Come join a project to ask candidates for local office who are on the ballot this November where they stand on issues relating to transit, walking and bicycling. City Council members and county supervisors make key decisions about making our streets safer for walking and bicycling, and serve on the boards of transit agencies and regional bodies like MTC. Bay area transportation advocacy groups have developed a candidate questionnaire focused on transportation issues -so we can hear where they stand and let them know that voters care.
We’ll need your help in distributing this questionnaire to candidates and collecting responses. Join this Zoom meeting on Sunday August 21 at 5pm to learn about the project and get the tools you need to get responses from your local candidates.
This project is co-sponsored by Seamless Bay Area, Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition, BikeEastBay, Transport Oakland, Peninsula for Everyone, South Bay Yimby, Transbay Coalition.
